ANNUAL MEETING 2019: BRAZIL
More than 70 researchers from different institutions of the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and the UK participated in the Annual meeting 2019 of the PIRE CREATE Project. During two days, they met at the Institute of Geosciences of the University of Sao Paulo to share the advances in relation to the climate variability of the last 1000 years through tree rings, speleothems, and climate models.
Also, as part of the Annual Meeting, they did a three-day field trip to Cavernas do Peruaçu National Park in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. They visit the different caves that the members of the PIRE Brazil are studying and analyzing.
