SUNY students, this is your opportunity!
During this three-day long course, undergraduate students across SUNY have the opportunity to do field and lab work in dendrochronology and participate in a workshop on the effects of climate change. Learn about past, present and future climate change in the US and abroad and how science can be used to inform policy- and decision-making.

Learn about past, present and future climate change in the US and abroad and how science can be used to inform policy-making. Hands-on training sessions will include paleoclimate research, climate modeling, tree-ring sampling, environmental policy sessions and more.
MEET
Get involved and meet other undergraduate students across SUNY with whom you will enjoy a weekend full of science and fun. Meet the PIRE team, make new connections and learn from the most prominent researchers and become part of the scientific community.

Transportation, accommodation and meals: during the weekend will be covered for the students.
